Meet our Pastors
Senior Pastor, Dr. L. David Kinlow II, M.Min., D.D.
Pastor David Kinlow accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior in 1978 at the age of nineteen. As he grew spiritually, his life was transformed and he realized God’s extraordinary call for him as a Pastor-Teacher.
   
​During his 30+ years of ministry, Pastor Kinlow has led numerous souls to Christ and has been faithful to provide life-changing Biblical teaching to his congregation and others. He is devoted husband to Terri Kinlow for over 30 years of marriage, and loving father to daughter, Miah.

Pastor Kinlow’s areas of expertise are:

Education:
    • Bachelors degree Akron University - 1983​
    • Ordained as a Minister of the Gospel - 1985
    • Masters degree in Ministry and Theology from Bethany Theological Seminary - 2007
    • DD degree (Doctor of Divinity) from Masters International School of Divinity - 2013
Associate Pastor Jesse Smith
Pastor Jesse Smith accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior as a young man.  With an accounting degree and diverse corporate management experience, Pastor Smith’s key role is overseeing various administrative functions of The Word of God Community Church.

Pastor Smith has faithfully and consistently provided support for our senior pastor, financial and practical structure for our congregation, and Biblical encouragement to all through both word and example. He has been a caring and devoted husband to his wife, Tina Smith, and is a concerned and loving father and grandfather.
